I thought the service that Mickledore provided was excellent and the movement of luggage and taxi transfers worked well. The accommodation was of high standard and on the whole the hosts were very good. We enjoyed meeting lots of people who were also using Mickledore and I did not hear a bad word spoken. I found Mickledore online and was impressed with what I read. I sent some questions, which were promptly answered, and we decided to move forward with a trip for my wife and I and a friend. We were extremely pleased with our best of Hadrian’s Wall holiday! All interaction was professional and timely, and it was clear that your company is well experienced in planning these trips. All details were taken care of! There were no hiccups!

Your organisation of the trip was outstanding. We expected fairly basic accommodation but we couldn’t have been more wrong. It was all first class with, mostly, the luxury of a five star hotel but with the personal touch of extremely friendly, professional and so helpful hosts who, without exception, went out of their way to ensure our brief stays were very memorable.  I would have no hesitation in recommending Mickledore knowing with confidence you would provide a tailor made package for anyone. I have already recommended you to other friends and when I next organise a walking holiday Mickledore will be the company of choice.

The excellent email and phone communication during the planning process got things off to an organised start. As this was my first distance walk ever I appreciate all your efforts enormously.
